At Aporia Pictures, we believe everything begins and ends with design.  Whether it's crystal clear conceptualization, creative consulting, thorough pre-production and planning, appropriately-scaled and efficient shoots, or laser-focused post-production processes, we pride ourselves on getting the most out of any project in front of us.

True to our name, we also understand just how easy it is to design the magic right out of things.  The ability to not only preserve, but to engineer allowances for the little "imperfections" to shine through — the artifacts and aberrations that shape and color our dreams and memories; imbuing our images with the heft of irreversibility; those ineffable units by which we measure the exact feel of time and space — this is why we love and make films.

Our preferences often skew toward softer, warmer, more "analog" feels and approaches - anything to pull the focus toward the ghosts in these machines. Sure, we can do the slick, clean, polished stuff but we're pretty sure the beauty of chaos is coming back around.  We'd like to invite you to look at the world from a weird angle and get a little messy with us.
